AEP San Benito Service Center
Project Description
D. Wilson Construction developed a new AEP Service Center on a 40-acre site in San Benito, designed to withstand a Category 5 hurricane. The facility features a robust foundation of drilled piers and concrete slabs, with concrete tilt walls and a steel frame. The roof includes a modified bituminous membrane and TPO canopies. The interior comprises three areas: a service area for utility trucks, administrative offices with meeting rooms, and a vehicle maintenance section equipped with bridge cranes and lifts. Site improvements include lime-stabilized grading, concrete paving, HMAC parking, and a dedicated fuel island..
